I started watching (i'm not done yet lol) and i don't understand a word because it's all in Japanese, but the images are _________________ Impossible is nothing! ~Oana~ |

| I spent all yesterday afternoon downloading the NHK program from FSVids, and it was well worth the effort. First to get things off my mind - yeah, there are some HOT images. Tried a screen capture and this is the best I could come up with (hope this works 'cause I'm not sure how to upload http://i63.servimg.com/u/f63/14/83/99/61/miracl10.jpgAfter his competitive career is over, Brian should totaly start his own show and skate in boxers only... Second, it was really interesting to just focus on this one element. Usually when anyone (and Brian in particular) lands a quad in competition you go "shew, landed. Great, quad, what's next..." and not look to closely into the execution. With some 20 odd minutes on one jump, you get to see just how high one has to leap to get the rotation (maybe it's only Brian who jumps this high, they did not focus on anyone else). I don't think I can jump this high without turning around... Also, how streight you keep your body in the air (gorgeous position). I was surprised as it didn't seem as though Brian was keeping it very tight - ancles crossed but not tight together and arms a little loose. A lot of scientific data, as well, but I could only guess what they are getting at. Wish Eurosport would get a hold of it and show it with English dubbing or subtitles... Can't wait for the complete version... Lonnie |

| On Sunday, 18 at 12.30. (and later: 20.07. - 21:00, 22.07. - 17:00, 26.07 - 17:00) Canal + Sport broadcasts "Miracle Body" episode featuring Brian. This is the documentary made by Japanese guys. http://www.canalplus.pl/dokument-mistrzowski-organizm-2_32919It says: Through the second series of a documentary cycle "Miracle Body" we can have an insight into the masters of popular sport disciplines and their physical conditioning that helps them perform almost impossible feats. This time the analytic equipment was installed on an ice rink. The hero of this episode is a figure skater, Brian Joubert. Figure skating is a sport that demands a lot of difficult moves from the competitors. One of the most difficult are jumps, and especially those jumps in which a skater has to rotate four times up in the air. The French skater, Brian Joubert, World Champion 2007 and European Champion 2004, 2007 and 2009, is deemed a perfect performer of quadruple jumps. Be it Salchow or Toe loop, his execution of these jumps is a show of top-notch abilities. Other elements performed on the ice also make Joubert a true artist among skaters. The French guy impresses the audience with rich choreography (Uhm... well... we know he's had ups and downs concerning choreography ) and liveliness of his free programmes (and that is true!). The creators of "Miracle Body" decided to have a closer look at the secrets of his techique and perfection. I won't be at home when C+ Sport will broadcast this bit but my parents will record it for me. If it's possible surely I'll upload it But the video is bound to be huge. So... I'll try _________________ Superman - the Master of the Wślizg! =D
