What music should you like Brian to use next season?

For his LP I do think that film music is good for him......my suggestions would include Lord of the Rings (great soundtracks & not overused in skating), Speed (exciting film, modern music & good visual images for him to use). I also love Pirates of the Carribean & Zorro, but these have been well used before (KVDP & Abt) so Brian would need an exceptional programme to do these. I would love him to find his "Gladiator" - the programme that he would totally love to skate & that no one could forget.....

Personally I would like to see him with a new SP as well (I can always dream!)......I think he could have some fun with this & take his pick of several opposite directions. One possiblity would be the Corrs' "Toss the Feathers" (used by Stefan Lindemann a few years ago) this is a dynamic tune, fast moving & also happy & uplifting. Totally opposite is the music of Ludovico Einaudi - very subtle & beautiful, but I think his skating now has the sophistation to carry this type of music off now (I wouldn't have suggested it even a couple of years ago!).

There are many enjoyable choices of contemporary styles to choose from - Vanessa Mae, Bond, etc

Definitely agree on the costume choice, it shouldn't be overdone (with feathers for example), black and discreet suit him well.

Regarding music, I won't mind to see him skate to soundtracks for LP and fast dynamic music for SP, it's all typically Brian, but I don't think that next season will offer him space to experiment with music and styles - like tango or swan lake *cough cough* Wink

Oh Sheena, I love the Corrs and Toss The Feathers is really a great piece of music! It would be brilliant if he skated to it, the choreographer could really play with it and it just screams for some amazing step-sequences Very Happy

It´s just, it reminds me a lot of Lord Of The Dance and I´m not sure if Brian had nice memories of that one mdr

The Einaudi music is really lovely, very peaceful and soothing, but I think Brian would need something with more power. But thank you for the links anyway, it´s lovely to listen to!

That would be a good choice indeed! I like the different music styles within!!

I was thinking about a mix maybe from the three songs! The beginning of the song 'Introduce a little anarchy' could be used for the beginning and circular footwork maybe.
'Agent of chaos' has a piano part in the end which could be used for the middle of Brian's program where he can catch his breathe. And the upbeat parts from 'and I thought my jokes were bad' could be used for the straight line footwork.

There is also one moment in 'and I thought my jokes were bad' at 1.50 where Brian could do a really cool movement. I have this picture in my head of Adrian doing a spread-eagle cantilever on that part. Maybe Brian could find some kind of movement like this. I think it would really suit the music.

My choice would be:
Enrio Morricone: The Professional soundtrack

I imagine it as something similar to James Bond. I think these kinds of characters really suit Brian because these roles are so powerful and masculine.
