i finally saw the fd of isa and oli in good quality vid and i am in love. it's wonderful. all the programs that they presented in sa are marvelous. they are funny in the cd and od and they are elegant and emotional in the fd.
also i saw fd of the kerrs. it has great choreography and it's very emotional but i think it needs a little more work on the technical side . i have a feeling that with such great od and fd they are going to be great this season.

I have never thought I would ever say it but i totally adored the FD of Belbin/Agosto. Their Tosca is full of very interesting and fascinating lifts and somehow they seemed so powerful on the ice.

I also liked the FD of Isa and Oli and i think their outfit is wonderful.

Oh, I finally managed to see Isa & Oli´s FD (and Kerrs´ FD too) and I think it was really beautiful, the more often I see it, the more I love it... Amour26 (I just don´t understand why they got the one point deduction scratch ) They were also wonderful in the CD, with that little extra special at the beginning and in the end, and their OD was the highlight for me - so much fun with Olivier playing the grandpa!! :lach: Great technical difficulty as well (in the FD too) :super: It´s amazing how they ALWAYS come up with something really unexpected, just lovely, and goodness me, the way they present their roles... real actors Very Happy
I was watching the whole OD competition (and the CD top three) and although I love the Kerrs, I have to say for me, Isa & Oli were pretty much in a class of their own!! However, I also liked Carron & Jost, especially the quick part was brilliant, you can feel the touch of Muriel and Romain in it, so clever Very Happy

I watched also the Pairs SP highlights and Aliona & Robyn´s LP. I really love the concept of their LP, but I´m quite confused with some technical stuff - I don´t understand why they do the side-by-side spins so far from eachother (plus their timing is not the best since some time now). I know it´s early in the season and I´m not afraid of the jumps, the sureness will come as the season progresses, but that´s just my point of view.

I´m still prepared to watch B&A´s FD.

Yesterday I saw the best 3 places ( FS men, dance and ladies)

And I think the Yu-Na Kim has a very good potencial I really like how she performance. She looks very light on the ice Smile.

About dance I like the music choice and interpretation for all 3 couple. (Isa and Oli, Tanith and Benjamin, Sinead and John).

Quote :

I've read on ISU site, they have a deduction for Extended lift Sad

oh, thanks for the explanation. I thought it must have been on some lift, but that´s nothing that can´t be worked out Wink

time for my very late comments Wink

Men. I must say that I am very positively surprised by Evan's new programms. Bolero was interesting and his FS was definitely something different to see from him. and of course this straightline footwork... :super: Johny was just... Johnny... nothing special. I don't know... to me it was very similar to all his previous programms. didn't impress me. and a surprising end with Kozuka.
Ladies. I'm TOTALLY in love with Yu-Na! I noticed her two seasons ago and she's only getting better! I love her SP, especially the beginning, when she's turning her head and marking the music. marvellous. and her jumps... so much grace and class. I'm absolutely for Yu-Na. and I hope Miki will do better this season, I felt so sorry for her last Worlds when she stopped skating at the beginning.
Pairs. absolutely FOR Aliona and Robin's choices. so veery different characters between their SP and FD and at the same time - so awesome both of them! an energetic SP and very emotional and uhm... full FD. perfect. can't wait to see them skated clean Wink
and... Ice Dance. would anybody be surprised to see my writing: KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRS!!!! fantastic OD! suits their personalities so much, lively and energetic. and FD - totally different from their previous FDs but just perfect IMO. great. and... if you didn't see their ex from SA - do it now! it's their Scottish Dance from the last season but twice as fast Razz ok. Isa and Olivier, whose OD I adooooore! It's won-der-ful!! I won't fall in love with this FD as much as with The Piano but it's great of course Smile especially the lifts. of course I didn't like Tanith/Ben FD (I said that the moment I heard they'd have Tosca) but I did like their OD. this character suited them very much, I loved their costumes too. to conclude seems that Ice Dance competition will be again veeery exciting Very Happy

(sorry for such a long blahblah Razz)
