As some kind of daughter of the Art on Ice Shows there will be a new show called World's best on Ice. As far as I know there will only be three shows this year, two in Germany (Nürnberg and Krefeld) and one in Basel, but I heard that there might be some more.
From some swiss people I heard that Yagudin is announced for the Basel-Show, for Krefeld and Nürnberg Savchenko/ Szolkowy, Surya Bonaly, Jeffrey Buttle, Stephane Lambiel, Navka/ Kostomarov, Irina Sluzkaja and Tanja Szewczenko (with her new partner Norman Jeschke) are supposed to come - the announcement says "among other stars" so you can just guess who it will be - and hope for the best

I just bought my tickets for the Show in Krefeld :jumping:
There are still plenty of tickets available but I hope that the rink will be sold out after christmas - I guess shows are much better with a biiig crowd

I also heard for gala in Basel for the visit of Alexeï it is on December 19th seems to me you him.

Looks like they are finally having a webpage - I was already wondering why there is hardly any info on the show!

World's Best on Ice

So far it only says that they will put more info there soon, but it's already better than nothing.
Unfortunately they don't say anything about Alexei there while the Pirouette wrote that he is supposed to skate at the german shows, too. I'll keep hope up
I just don't get why they put Tanja Szewczenko as the main act while having Stephane, Jeffrey and Aliona and Robin ... (without beeing rude )

The Shows in Germany have been moved to April, buuut Ewgeny Plushenko will be there
I hope (and guess) that moving the show to the end of the season is a good thing since all the skaters who are skating at Olys and/ or Worlds will be a lot more relaxed then than in December!
