Wow, the men's FS was beyond ridiculous. The competition's motto must have been "Quad? We don't need no freakin' quad, and no triple Axle, either".
Lysacek wins with 7 triples, just 1 3A and nearly 160 on the FS. confused
The only quads landed inthis comp were by poor erner, who seems to have missed just about everything but the quad... Sad
If Brian and Plush only skate clean in Vacouver they should break workd records...

wow wow wow. How shocking results! Shen and Zhao seem to be at their top, don't they? I love their programs as well as Aliona/Robin but I somehow want Aliona and Robin to be first. Maybe it's because I was observing their progress year by year.
And Meryl/Charlie ahead of Tessa/Scott, that also came a bit of a surprise to me. The Americans are great, surely, but I somehow thought that the Canadians are unbeatable.
And what on earth happened to Yu-Na? She was so consistant.

I'm afraid the judges won't be so kind to Brian, even if he makes 2-3 clean quads...That's the matter of a particular concern! All the rest with less difficult technical programs get craZy scores, but when Brian does, judges are not so generous... Mad
I can't say i'm fascinated by Oda's skating, for me it's too dull, however i approve of his score somehow, but speaking about Evan...I'm really speechless! Twisted Evil Rolling Eyes I don't find anything appealing to me there,i mean his hands resemble a mill, his choreography is far from deserving such a score...WTF!? lol!
ps I'm happy for Johnny!

I am totally clueless as to why the judges handed out these inflated scores. confused It's insane. LOL. I really do not get why Lysacek got the marks he did; I've watched both his SP and FP multiple times and I still don't understand what was so great about either program, LOL. I'm glad Johnny did well, although I'm certainly not a fan of his style.
