Nastya, if you say enough times that something, even if it's complete sh*t, is in fact God's gift to humanity, maybe eventually people will begin to believe it. And - sadly - so will the judges. I think that's what the Russian fed is trying to do. No doubt the news will hit the headlines, there will be this huge media frenzy (Rudkovskaya will see to it). Given that whatever scant knowledge of figure skating people here have these days is based on Ice Age with calf-legged celebrities moving like dummies, it will be almost too easy to persuade everyone that Plushenko means business. Rolling Eyes It's such a predictable Dima-Bilan-at-Eurovision-2008 scenario it's almost painful to watch it happening all over again, this time on the ice rather than on the stage.

OMG this is horrible! The music is so irritating. I understand that they meant to be original and interesting but I really don't like this OD. The... sounds don't correspond with their moves at all. So that's a big NO from me to this OD.

Actually, Joanna Budner decided to quit skating. I was a big fan of Asia and Janek but I'm quite happy he managed to find a new partner. I heard from friends who were at Nationals that he actually improved as a skater Very Happy I also heard that V/M's FD was "Beetlejuice" - Budner/Moscicki's FD from the 2007/08 (I think) season.

There's actually a very interesting situation in the Polish Men's field now. Our 2008/09 champion, Przemyslaw Domanski had a very unfortunate accident shortly before Nationals, which prevented him from competing there, while Poland's former junior champion, Maciej Cieplucha was having some better results than Przemek this season and I heard Polish Nationals were about to decide who goes to Euros and Olympics. And now it all got complicated as Maciek won but Przemek was unable to compete... scratch Even though I like Maciek a lot, I'll feel terribly sorry for Przemek if he ends up not going to the Olympics, as he actually earned the spot for Poland thanks to his result at Worlds in LA. The most fair thing to do, IMO, would be holding a test skate if Przemek has recovered enough to be able to participate in it.

Thanks for informations. Smile

I guess I missed something Embarassed Why Jana and Sergei didn't compete at Nationals?? And I agree with you ladies about Oksana and Maxim. It's very different programme. You know I said the same thing for Davis&White's OD. But... Indian dance is better than that.

And Taka-san made me disappointed. I'll watch his SP now. And I wonder won't he go to Worlds and Olympics??? Suspect

Here is his SP:

But it's nice that we have another skater like Maciej Smile

I'm gonna miss the pair Asia and Janek, but I wish the new partner Anastasia will have great results Very Happy
