Just to clarify the situation:-

Jeanne & I have been in discussion & have agreed for her to "do" the card on our behalf as she has tickets for practice & Irina & I have not, so I consider her to have the best opportunity to give our good wishes to Brian before the competition starts. Thank you for your help with this Jeanne!

Irina & I hope to meet up with Jeanne (also Klam) outside the rink before the practice sessions - or during the competition. We are going to try (again) for practice tickets in case there are any spare.

I just want to emphasise to everyone that we will be doing our absolute best to get our card & greetings to Brian before the start of hostilities (sorry, the competition!)

Personally I have never been to an Olympics before, so I just don't know what to expect with regard to skater access etc. We are hoping that we (Jeanne, Klam, Irina & I - whoever are there) will be able to hand the card directly to Brian (or his team) at practice on 15th February, but at this moment we don't know if we will be able to get close enough to do so. How close/far away are the seats, will the skaters enter/exit through the public part of the arena or will they have a private & direct entrance/exit?? - we won't know any of this until we actually get into the arena.

Brian will get the card - even if it is thrown onto the ice after the SP!

Here are some pictures of THE card!!! In the white rectangle is written the word "GOOD" and above you can see the letters "L" "U" "C" "K". The letters are made of kind of soft material! The clover leaf is glittering!





Here is the card with the envelope. As it's a card from the BJDG, I thought that a picture of the website of the forum should be included!



As the list of participants is quite long (what I really appreciate, lol), I printed it and glued it inside the card!



On the top you can see the picture of the forum once again, then the text in English AND in French, as Sheena and Roosje suggested and then the list of participants!

The left side was empty and boring. I took the liberty of inserting some pictures of Olympic medals
