With all my classes, homework and trips abroad I think I'll be watching everything in replay... Well, I'll tape it, because at least then I'll get the full broadcast. I'm leaving for Germany on Friday morning...so won't be able to watch free untill Sunday night!!! So... I'll check back with you after I've watched it!

Brian said in an interview that his goal was to not have any regrets, to give 100%, so i think there's not going to be any calculating this time. Brian has to know that being sorry for what you haven't done is worse than being sorry for what you have done. I'm sure Brian is going to throw everything he's got into this fight, after all Brian has always been a fighter and now it's the fight of his life & the time for no regrets allez

Thanx Oana, I hope he does! He just has to go for it!

I constantly keep saying "last year" when referring for the last Olympics instead of "four years ago" because it still feels so close. Those four years flew away so quickly and still so many things happened.

The competition is coming and I feel in deep phylosophy mood...

Is it possible? Is it really just about half a day untill THE competition starts??? Titi, you´re so right, those four years flew by like crazy..... In a way I can´t wait for it, but also, I feel a little philosophical too.
In those four years, Brian has been such a big part of my life and now it seems as if the circle is coming to a close..... I HOPE and BELIEVE, it will be an exciting and happy one - and I agree with someone who said that if Brian gives and skates his absolute best and gets silver or bronze, I will die a happy person Very Happy

Thousand times thank you to Hedwig de FSU of his permission that I could copy its posts (I give you link http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=71209&page=6 but you must have access to this part))

Hedwig assisted his report trainings of the men and here is:
Mille fois mercis à Hedwig de FSU de son autorisation que je puisse copier ses posts ( je vous donne le lien mais vous devez avoir accès à cette partie ))

Hedwig a assisté aux entraînements des hommes et voici son compte-rendu :

First group of skaters already impressed me. There was this North Korean guy who was just gorgeous. I couldn't take my eyes off him and pointed him out to Mella who was equally impressed and we were just gushing about him. Then I even noticed that he had "Amodio" written down his pants and I was even more that he was a fan of Amodio whom I really love - and only two minutes after seeing that I realized that in fact it was Amodio.
In my defense: I saw the skating order earlier and was sure that the North Korean would be first and didn't realize that they already rotated within the group.

Amodio really stole the show for me. He is fabulous to watch and I am so exited to see him in the next Olympic cycle. I know that he is a French headcase and that he will break my heart but I love him anyway.

Other than that I go on with group three as equatorial already covered our notes from the first two groups:

Lindemann marked his jumps in the run-through and had some troubles with the jumps later on. He was boring as hell.

Fernandez cut his hair a little bit They are not in full mullet mode anymore.
He was practising sleeveless and showing off his nice arm muscles.
Run-through:
3axel
3toe-3toe (so is he going for the quad in the SP?)
3lutz

He tried a few quads later on, mostly tripled but did at least one clean one.

Bacchini
Loved his spins and his choreo to Amelie. I am happy that he got the spot as I would have been quite to see Blues-for-the-Klook from Zelenka for the 12434th time.
2axel
2lutz, popped
3flip

Kemelen - second Amelie in a row
Hideous practice outfit
3axel, very tight rotation
3lutz-3toe df
2flip

Borodulin
3axel flip out
3lutz-2toe
3flip
Hideous Plushenko wannabe haircut

4th group

Schultheiß was too late
"I thought Lambiel was Dutch" said annoying girl behind us.

Lambiel: Marks his jumps. Great program. Did a 4toe and 4ztoe-3toe later on.

Oda
Marks his jumps as well. I liked that this program was not as cutesy as a lot of his programs are.
He looked fit and smooth,.

Denis Ten
2axel turn-out
Hate his music
3lutz-3toe
3flip
Light on his feet

Screamed myself hoarse for Takahashi
3flip-3toe
3axel, very nice
3lutz
I nearly jumped on the ice and hugged him.

4toe later in the practice

Schultheiß
4toe hand-down
3axel
3flip

Whole group looked a bit tense and nervous - more than the other ones.

5th group

Chan
we are bitching about how he will be trying to intimidate the other skaters while not jumping
3flip in this run-through
I like his SP a lot, LP not so much

Johnny
marks his jumps
quick and smooth
faster than I remembered him
later on:
3lutz-3toe
3axel
3flip

tried the quad later on. I saw him popping some to a triple and df one.

Joubert
Nice butt.
4toe-3toe
3lutz
faassst

Kozuka
3flip-3toe
3axel nice and deep
He has everything except a personality on ice that makes you jump up and down.

Contesti
I only saw him do a 3axel

last group

Abbott
3axel hand-down
3lutz

Brezian
3axel
3flip-3toe
Saw him try a quad later on.

vdP
3axel
looked dead tired after 30 seconds.

Verner
4toe-3toe
3flip
some problems with the quad but good practice all in all

Lysacek
3axel
3lutz-3toe
3flip
Looked very focussed and good.
