I am recording it. Even if I stay up late (which is not a good idea because I have a practical lesson tomorrow that I am going to get graded on), there will be two problems: a) I can't make a sound or I will wake my parents and they won't be happy, b) more importantly I don't think it will be good for my nerves...so I'm not watching it live probably, unless of course the nerves will keep me up tonight...which is possible because I'm already getting nervous and this is just the SP! I so hope Brian can hold his nerve better than I can, cuz that's what it's going to amount to. He looks fit in the video, he feels well he says in all the interviews...so it should be possible, as long as he doesn;t get nervous.

Okay, enough of this talk, I'm just going to have faith in Brian allezBrian Drapeau ! Baboo, you can do it!!!

Thank you Alex! Guess I'll watch just Brian tonight, though for LP I'll surely stay awake the whole night.

Thanks you everyone for the links and comments (Gis & Hedwig)! bisousfleurs

I've been Brian's fan for 8 years now ever since his first Euros where there was a positive energy about his skating that i found completely irresistible Razz In Turin 4 years ago i wanted him to win from the bottom of my heart and i was devasted when he failed so badly in doing it. But i believe everything happens for a reason. He wasn't ready to be an Olympic champion in 2006, as much as i loved him then (and i still do, now even more), looking back i think he was just a kid - immature both as a sportsman and as a person, eager to step into shoes bigger than he could fill, he certainly had the ambition to fight, but lacked the right weapons. As hard as it may be to take, i believe that failure and disappointment make you stronger, help you grow and prepare you for success, which is not all that easy to handle if you don't know what defeat feels like. To me it's amazing how far Brian has gone during those 4 years that followed, both as a skater and as a person. Of course Brian has his flaws, but who doesn't? I'm saying all these things because the interviews with Brian that you posted in the other thread got me thinking that he now is mature enough to be an Olympic champion, i believe he really is ready!

So Brian, please be at your very best in both your programs at the Olympics, please let the champion that you are inside take the ice tonight and on Thursday in Vancouver! I believe with all my heart, pray, keep my fingers crossed, hope for an Olympic gold medal for Brian! Alleeeeeeeeeeezzzz Brian!!!!!!!!! cheergo1 allez manga38

Oana, I really like what you wrote.

In some ways it feels like it was yesterday when he was 6th in Torino. But in other ways he improved so much since then. As a skater, as a person... He tasted succes and defeat, showed fighting (Joubert!!!!) spirit, and I just hope he can experience that fantastic feeling of being extremely concentrated and confident at the same time and to deliver the best he can.

Go Brian.

Oana, I like how you refer to the champion inside Brian. It seems very fitting, because I know there is really one inside him, just begging to come out. cheers

All of this Plushy love is making me sick. Its like they are just ready to engrave his name on the medal again. Last night proved that the judges are not afraid to send Russia home empty handed.

Brian is the guy who is going to stand up and lead the charge to strike down the russian dictator.

Plush is unbelieveable, he's just SOO sure of himself. But the good thing is that his component score wasn't THAT high. It's quite positive I guess.

Wow Brian is the next skater! I am soooo nervous. Hope everything's going great! About Plushenko, the judges actually buried him at component score. They sent him a clear message; they don't want him again olympic champion. Basically his steps wasn't something interesting like Takahashi's or Lambiel's but we'll see...
Anyway, the main thing is Brian's performance! Danseuse01 cheergo2 BJDGbanner bjrdg2yt8
