thanks Gis! This is a google translation of the article:http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=fi&sl=ru&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.uc.kr.ua%2Ffresh%2F5876%2F

I thought this was a funny part: "I remember very well the Olympics in Turin. Before the performance Alexei Yagudin called me and told me to exert all his strength, but remember that the Olympic title - not the most important thing in my life. He said no matter what happens - we will simply live. And when a few years, with family and children, we meet at the kebab or something like that, the Olympics will be the last thing on which we remember."

Actually after I read this interview, I had tears in my eyes. I've never been like this before after reading a simple interview, but this one... Maybe I'm too emotional before the Olympics, but anyways, I have only one thing to say -

I'm proud of Brian and the kind of person he is, and I'm proud to say out loud that I'm his fan, because being his fan makes me a better person, too.

I love this article. A fresh look, and lots of stuff I did not know before. I love Brain for his skating, but I am finding that he is quite a remarkable person outside the rink, as well.

My favorite quote was:
And I was very upset, but not for long. Then I say to myself: "This is a challenge. He must accept and overcome difficult moments unfavorable". After them, I get only stronger. "

Thanks for all links!

I loved the bit about what he would do if he had loads of money - buy motorbikes (of course!) as well as sharing it with his family & those in need.

I hope lots of people read this interview - many will be suprised at his consideration for others & lack of ego........

Je n’ai rien contre lui car c’est un grand champion qui mérite le respect. Après, pour être honnête, il est, disons, insupportable (rires).
