So did I understand correctly? Brian is also sad because two years ago he broke up with Valentina and chose his career over love?

I hope there's something lost in translation and he is not actually using the break up with Vale as the excuse to his poor Olys performances. This would be pretty lame Rolling Eyes

wow! Please can anyone tell us in general Brian's point because I couldn't understand from google translation. He want to be again with Vale?

See? I told you he should moe to Italy. LOL.

Seriously, though. I know the French are dramatic people and Brian seems the emotional sort, but is he still broken up about it?

I do not see in these articles any Brian's declaration for excuse for his results. Yes, I See Brian's certain declarations and some conclusions that the journalists do, but nothing more....

As far as i understood,he did not mention anything about Valentina himself,it's some kind of journalist's assumption..Brian just said, that as long as he is a skater,he won't be able to give his all to relations, and he needs a girl who is able to accept and understand it,if she does not-it's not a good one.So there is some kind of sacrifice of love, because of his career.
And what particularly i figured out lol,Candeloro recently told journalists that he considers Brian to be casanova, but Brian denies this hahaha....

maybe i am wrong, let's wait french girls to correct us.

I think you're right Nastya! It's some kind of an assumption from the journalist ,cause the phrase about Valentina has put between two comma's (....)
And in the other aticle he confessed that he cried after the training, but as we all know that is because brian "cracked and doesn't feel like himself these days" I don't think it has something to do with Valentina. As far as I know his mother is still the most important women, and Brian once stated that his main focus is his career and not relationships.

Quote :
Candeloro recently told journalists that he considers Brian to be casanova, but Brian denies this hahaha....

lol!

At the end of the article Brian says; he doesn't gallop behind a group of girls, but just ONE girl in particular Very Happy

I do not see or Brian's purposes are who says that it is the error of his girlfriend, lol!
He says simply that he scattered, he is not a philanderer but there is a girl (he apas spoken of Valentina) it is a purely journalistic speculation!
Nastusha understood everything, lol!

Attention which it does not divert otherwise......

well, I listened to the interview. There is absolutly nothing about vale, Brian just said I have to focus on his skating and his possible girlfriend must understand this. That's all, he never said his his echec of olys was the fault of girlfriend.

journalists (especially news paper like gala) loves speculation and extrapolation about love affairs.

the important new is he is ready to leave Poitiers if necessary, and training in another country.

Russie? Very Happy
Though i'd strongly like him to come here,i understand it's hard to find free ice rinks in Moscow, especially that Albena and Maxim are not pure russians and they don't have an accreditation of official trainers in order to organize skating practise sessions. They might ask someone, like Alexandr Julin or Elena Vodorezova or TAT for a help, but i am not sure they'll be enthusiastic about this idea, cause their skating groups are also full, moreover none will dare to accept Brian, while Plushenko is still alive lol

Maxim works with Zhulin... Zhulin is the coach of Nathalie and of Fabian who are rivals of Jana and his partner (desolate his forename avoids me, here is what that is to lie down very very late Ange2 , lol!))

Maxim travaille avec Zhulin ... Zhulin est le coach de Nathalie et de Fabian qui sont des concurrents de Jana et de son partenaire( désolée son prénom m'échappe ,voilà ce que c'est de se coucher très très tard ,lol! ))

Yep, he is. (I said he'd go straight back to France, didn't I Manon?)

But I really don't know about training abroad yet. I'm in between two minds. It might be a good experience, there might be good coaches and choreographers there and better facilities... but we all know how Brian feels about going abroad... If his mother can come it will certainly help. But still, it needs to be a place where he really can feel at home and the person who he'll work with needs to understand that and really make him feel welcome, if he doesn't feel okay training abroad won't help much anyway. So I guess it does depend on who he'll be working with (do we know already?).
Plus, I dunno what period of time for staying abroad they have in mind, but I wonder if he's is up to extended periods abroad...
Anyway, it's his decision and I''l support him whatever decision he makes as long as it HIS OWN DECISION and not one pushed on him by the FFSG!

Haha yes you were right Roos!

TAT would be a good choice! Although I still like Jean-Christophe Simond...

He's so predictable, Manon Razz !

Didn't he have this big fight with TAT last time he went and worked with here and then returned to France early???

I think Kurt Browning did good work with him last time (plus, he made Brian feel at home!)

I don't know. I don't think she did Mao much good. Besides, isn't her health real bad these days? I do think she has a good rapport with Brian, we saw her behaviour last year (at CoR she was hilarious).

The question of where is not as important as the question of WHO.

Gala magazine shouldn't be taken too seriously, it's a kind of gossipy mag that likes to focus on stars' love stories etc.

I read this, via translation, in that article and I thought the online translator had screwed up, lol, but when I read Alex's post, quoted here, all I could do was... Rolling Eyes Brian, it's time to really grow up. You no longer need your mommy to wipe your nose! You are a grown man and it's time you strike out on your own and leave your mama behind in Poiters. It is not fair of Brian to want his mother to follow him everywhere; I'm sure she has her own friends whom she would not like to be separated from. Raymonde could visit him several times a year, lol, but moving to wherever Brian will be training is nuts. If Brian were to move between the end of World's and the start of summer it would certainly give him time to begin acclamating in his new environment and, by the time he was in heavy training the strangeness of the new place would be reducing. I realize that moving aways from hom has scared the living daylights out of him but it has gotten to the point where it is ridiculous, lol.
