I truly hope that Brian chooses what he wants to do, what he feels is best, and not just simply what others tell him to do.

All online newspapers took back this information concerning the girlfriend etc...
And information was put here (you speak about an information) I preferred to know which country, what coach, what choreographers?? the rest I to me in madmen!
Tous les journaux en ligne ont repris cette info concernant la copine etc ...
Et l'info a été mise ici ( tu parles d'une info ) je préférais de savoir quel pays ,quel coach ,quels chorégraphes ?? le reste je m'en fous !

Blue Bead

Quote :
Brian, it's time to really grow up. You no longer need your mommy to wipe your nose! You are a grown man and it's time you strike out on your own and leave your mama behind in Poiters. It is not fair of Brian to want his mother to follow him everywhere; I'm sure she has her own friends whom she would not like to be separated from. Raymonde could visit him several times a year, lol, but moving to wherever Brian will be training is nuts. If Brian were to move between the end of World's and the start of summer it would certainly give him time to begin acclamating in his new environment and, by the time he was in heavy training the strangeness of the new place would be reducing. I realize that moving aways from hom has scared the living daylights out of him but it has gotten to the point where it is ridiculous, lol

Well said it, Mary! clap ITA! Wink

I always looks to my fave mantra: "Lucky is waht happens when preparation meets opportunity".
Brian, please, do not waste another chance in your career .

I do believe as most of you,it's lame to declair some private "love\sex affairs" as the reason of bad performance at Olys.He has not trained much?Ok...that's lame too..ask anyone in Courch or Poitiers,he has spent almost all his time at the ice rinks.Or he considers 40 hours a week for trainings to be a little input???That's not serious...as IT really IS the solid schedule!
I mean,Brian just showed the weakness of his character, that's all.
LOOK AT JOANNIE finally, isn't the heart of this girl hurting at the moment???!!IT IS,but she fought till the end and i am sure she'll get the bronze!!!

I love Brian,i admire him and i know(as all of you)that his skating is really one of the best in the world, but i am sooooo sorry that he has missed already nearly(5 world titles)which could have gone to him and many other opportunities, including the Olys,ONLY because of his "head mess",I hope this time smn will insist on hiring a psychologist!!!

Who knows, maybe it isn't about a girl or anything! Maybe it's more....personal. Just a hunch though.

I assume the French federation can submit all 4 names (2 as subs) and then announce in the last minute who is going. I hope they make their decision soon, though, so that the skaters who are going could be ready.

Who would YOU send?

I'd go with Brian and Florent. Florent really did a good job in Vancouver and Brian has earned the right to go, however he looks at the moment, and hopefully this will help him get his legs back.

I think they need to announce the date of the test skate very soon. Yannick and Alban might have been taking a break of skating because they haven’t had any competitions since Euros? So I don’t think neither of them are going to be in a top shape at the test skate. So the possibility that Brian wins is high.

I doubt extremely that Yannick and Alban gave up training since Euro but perhaps that they raised the foot lol
It is Florent who risks not being the happiest for this test because he had chosen to go to Turin instead of Tallinn and I confess you that it would be unfair for him!
I hope that we will know about it more for the date of this famous test!

I don't think Florent needs to participate to this test. He has already earned the spot and he was great at Olys. So I think the test skate will be between Brian, Yannick and Alban. Or maybe there is not going to be any test skate, maybe it was just an impulsive thing to suggest after the SP, because nobody seems to talk about it anymore, not Brian, Yannick, Alban or DG.

Manon, I will give information about the Worlds", lol!

online translations are sometimes strange and funny but this renders service nevertheless for the persons who did not learn English or other languages ange , lol!
les traductions en ligne sont parfois étranges et marrantes mais ça rend quand même service pour les personnes qui n'ont pas appris l'anglais ou autres langues ,lol!

I hope he'll pull through but liek its suggested before, better to fall apart at the test than at Torino.

Oh no, Nastia! You beat me to it! Very Happy Very Happy

Yes...Florent has a privileged status... Rolling Eyes
I guess he won his ticket to Worlds after having become the French national champ.

I think it's fair that Florent doesn't have to take part in the test. He's had a great season and did a great job at Olys. The test is quite late though. But.. on the other hand it gives them more time to prepare for it.

It´s correct that Floret dont the test...
He is good skaters, the future of the french figure skating and he has done a great season...I do not believe that he has privileged status

Nastya, it is not a privilege, Florent had had the choice to participate in Tallinn or Turin and he chose Turin, in more Florent assured well in JO!
In more it is necessary to confess that he made his since the beginning seasonal job, to Brian to disassemble what he wants to make and especially if he feel ready to go there otherwise as much as does not go to Turin there and to recover in question, by asking good questions!
