| So if I understand it correctly, Florent is going to World's whatever happens and the test to go with him to Torino is between Brian, Yannick & Alban? |

| Yes...Florent has a privileged status... I guess he won his ticket to Worlds after having become the French national champ. _________________ |

| I think it's fair that Florent doesn't have to take part in the test. He's had a great season and did a great job at Olys. The test is quite late though. But.. on the other hand it gives them more time to prepare for it. |

| It´s correct that Floret dont the test... He is good skaters, the future of the french figure skating and he has done a great season...I do not believe that he has privileged status |

Nastya, it is not a privilege, Florent had had the choice to participate in Tallinn or Turin and he chose Turin, in more Florent assured well in JO! In more it is necessary to confess that he made his since the beginning seasonal job, to Brian to disassemble what he wants to make and especially if he feel ready to go there otherwise as much as does not go to Turin there and to recover in question, by asking good questions!

I agree, but maybe they all have to calm down a bit after Olys, it's February ending and this topic still quite a hot potato... Thanks for explaining the issue connected with Florent, but even though he hadn't have chosen before to go to Worlds they should send him there, as he did well uring this season. |

Well, if he's still in the state he was in Vancouver he can't... but better be humiliated at home than on the world stage...

| Thanx Gis!
Makes sense this article, for as far as I understood it. Brian made mistakes and he was the first to admit that, but it isn't totally his fault...indeed the federation and its strategy indeed had something to do with it as well. |

Oh, BTW, I wasn't trying to imply in any way that it was unfair that Florent doesn't have to take part in the test. I was just asking if I understood correctly, seeing my French isn't good.
Anyway, I'm sure that Bri will do well! |

| Gis, thanks for this article! It's about time someone complained about Gailhaguet's behavior (ranting) against Brian's outcome at the Olympics. What the US Secretary for Sports said is that the FFSG's stategy for gaining medals at the Olympics is flawed. (Duh....it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out, lol) Also, that Gailhaguet's dissing of Brian needs to be explored and criticized. Basically, the message is don't make Brian a scapegoat for the FFSG's failure to steer their skaters onto the podium. I couldn't agree more with this article. I'm still stunned that DG would be stupid enough to berate Brian in such a public forum. Doing so was the ultimate in poor judgment on his part. I do hope there is some payback against him for this!
