girls i am sorry it took so long to start a report.
so, i arrived in vancouver. it was raining like hell and it has been raining for all last week. but the prognosis said that for the next week, as long as i was there it was gonna to be sunny and it was .

actually during most days it was really warm, like you could wear a t-shirt, unfortunately in night time was cold.
as ma and sheena discovered, we were staying in the middle of the nowhere, aka maple ridge. we did not realise before hand that it was gonna be so far away.
another thing we discovered was that the canadians are such nice people. i mean i don't know if this is the truth but it was my truth as long as i stayed there. so one day on the bus a lady started talking to me and sheena and when we told her where we stay she offered to try and find another place for us.
and she did. she called our hotel and left a number for us to call. and we did and we met that person. who turned out to be a nun. A NUN!!!! it wasn't much closer and i decided not to make the convent collapse by my moving in there. but it was such a funny moment. with sheena telling me that maybe it would be nice if i would not mention my opinion about religion to the nun.

fun she was cute and she had her olympic gloves and was all for the olympic spirit.
well, everybody on the streets seems to be all for the olympic spirit. we did heard on tv and from friends that actually not everybody was fine with the olys but you wouldn't have known it just by walking the streets.
everywhere there was the " go canada go" sign, next to the " welcome world " sign. everybody was wearing a maple leaf in some form : on t-shirts, pants, jackets, boots, gloves. there a maple leaf on anything you could think of.
but the obvious patriotism came hand in hand with the warm welcome. everybody was

helpful. like me and sheena felt we could put ourselves up for adoption and somebody will definitely take us in. sometime people will just come up to you and ask if you need help just because you looked lost. And i am not just talking about the volunteers in blue jackets ( they were awesome too by the way ) but i am talking about random people on the street.
Vancouver was a great place to be. Especially if you had a couple of friends with you and you loved winter sports. Every bar in town had a huge screen tv showing the games.
and in vancouver even the statues were supporting the olys. like seriously, the statues where wearing the olympic gloves.
the public trasportation amazeme. they were damm goo, they deserved a medal, a golden one.
everywhere in the town, there were queues. but the biggest queue we kept seeing we did not know what it was for. and one day, i think the last day i decided to go and freaking ask. and it was a place that had the medal on display. seriously, people were queuing to just lok at the medals. that was weird.
ok, i promise to continue if people are still interested in this, one month after the fact

and i am gonna start to upload my pics.
