Wow that was really not fair for the USA. Should have been 3-2!!

And in the game Germany-Serbia i think the referee was nuts! So many yellow cards!

Switzerland playing tomorrow! Is there any way to find a video of it? Exam prep, even the nicest teachers won't let us watch it now.

By the way, where do you get those awesome smilies?

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rage rage rage rage rage . 4197610

Adelina that is such a cool emoticon!!!

So far the first and second round have been really strange! It's not what I had expected!
- Germany first football game amazing, then not so good.
- Spain lost from Switserland.
- France; sorry for the french members among us that it turn out this way!
- USA; should have been 3-2!!
- England silent Not at the top level yet same as Italy

But Argentina with football player Mezzi amazing!! and Brazil is amazing too!

I think our team could do better as well! Specialy in playing the long shots over the field! I still miss the fire!!

I have to admit...I was skeptical of the US team doing well. Soccer isn't our sport. However, I am so proud of the US guys!!!! Landon Donovan is AMAZING.

GO USA!!!! Danseuse01

I have to agree with Kiki---the US team is doing incredibly well and hopefully will make it to the final 16. It's probably too much to hope that the US might make it to the last two. Many of the US commentators expect them to make it to that fourth position but farther than that is anyone's guess.

Congrats to the US, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Germany, Ghana, England, and Japan!
Also, deep condolences to the french... didn't exactly turn out anywhere near well...

On a more cheerful note, Switzerland is playing tomorrow against Honduras!!! I wish them the best of luck, it would be wonderful if they manage to move on from the group stage. Somewhat unlikely, but given what we've seen this World Cup, anything is possible.

I don't watch any soccer, I 'm just no interesting at it. I didn't even saw my country (and it's over for us) but congrats to the countries who made it to the final 16. I just wanted to share an article I found for french team because they reffered to Brian.
