Some news...

I wasn't very present on the forum these last months.

I lost my job on july, and I don't find another yet, my beloved kitty was killed near my house at the end of september, it's very hard, I miss him so much, my grand-mother had surgery on october and she didn't recover yet and finally, I am sick since the end of november, I had medical exams but the doctor didn't find where the problem is...

I just hope 2012 will be better, and I wish you a very happy new year !

Thank you, Gis and Adelina Very Happy
The company barely exists now. lol. my holiday increase from this year. Of course I'm glad, but my salary decreases a little. still it is a satisfactory salary, but it is sure that the company weakens Wink Because Japanese economy weakens, there are few companies which spend money on advertising. My section is selling advertisement.. Rolling Eyes and not big company.. Suspect lol

anyway, I'll do my best on my work Smile Thank you!!

@Gis
it's good to hear that you had a wonderful time with your family Very Happy well, so It seems that Vicky will be able to speak French and English completely In the near future. more than Gis faint18x19wy5 and of course more than me... Embarassed
lol!

How awful that so many of our members are experiencing major difficulties in their lives as the new year of 2012 gets underway! I can only hope that, somehow, this new year will resolve everyone's problems and restore to those members a happy way of life.

My heart goes out to Alex. It's very distressing when you have to deal with unresolved ill health, on top of losing your job and your beloved pet, in such a short period of time. (((((((hugs)))))))

To Saori...the economy is bad everywhere it seems and companies of all sizes have been radically affected by it. Do whatever you can to keep you job even if it means taking a substantial cut in salary. If you can hold on to that job you'll be one of the lucky ones. There are thousands and thousands of people, worldwide, who weren't as lucky and are unemployed, with little hope of regaining employment. The world we live in is in a terrible mess and I don't know when any of it will be resolved, I'm sad to say. However, if your company should cease to exist, I hope you will be one of the luckiest ones to find a new job as soon as possible.

At least there is one bright spot in all the gloom and doom, that Gis has been able to spend wonderful time with her family members, especially her precious granddaughter, Vicky. May you get to spend countless more hours cuddling her as the year passes.

Alex, you last months seem quite bad. i hope your grandma recover and that you find out what is wrong with your health. i am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Saori, the economics everywhere suck. More free time with a so and so salary is not the worst thing that can happen. i wish you get to use your free time to do some of the things you wanted to do but never found the time.

i really hope 2012 will be a more productive year for me because in 2011 i did lots of stuff but i feel i did not really advance in any way. plus my job contract ends in October and i have to think what i want to do ( and what i can do ) by then. plus i am getting my degree in nutrition this year which means i have to do a freaking diploma paper and the i have to have the diploma exams. i feel tired just by writing it. Thank you hug

I know if I change my job, I can't get the salary that is equal to now. so I should keep my now job. I don't have a artistic talent and special technique and so on. I'm too normal Embarassed but I think .. I am good at learning a new thing ...except language study hide8up so I guess that my boss (owner) feels that it is convenient to employ me...btw I heard the Darwin's Proverbs by chance on TV today.
Quote:
It is not the strongest
of the species that survives,
nor the most intelligent that survives.
It is the one
that is the most adaptable to change.
--- Charles Darwin ---

"Darwin's theory of evolution" became my bible from today on lol!
and it might be good chance to spend for my hobbies on off day as Irina said. Very Happy

Saori, I am sure that Vicky will speak English better than me, lol!!

I would see Vicky and his delightful parents in the afternoon then they go to Switzerland (a supplier pays them a small stay) then they come back to La Rochelle..
We will see if we can plan a trip this summer..

@Saori-sama: Surprised huh! U don't have artistic skills! U? So if u don't have..thanwhat to say about mines! hide8up
Anyway I agree with Irina! As long as u have a job - hope u'll not lose it! I'm sure u won't actually - and u get paid even less then before but u have more free time then it's pretty good Smile
And I'm pretty sure that if u'll exercize a little more u'll be able to learn foreign languages too! That's what I need too..but it seems that I'm too lazy to study.... ange

nice quotation! Smile
