| RAK projects in previous years have been on off-season activity. That there is so little feedback, now, may be due to the lateness of the project within the time frame, given that the new season starts in the not too distant future and members will have to choose between working on their RAK projects or spending time reading the messageboards to figure out what the heck is going on, lol. There are only so many hours in the day.  Other reasons are the costs associated in sending stuff to foreign countries (it's no longer inexpensive, lol). People may not have the discretionary spending to find just the right thing to send to their RAK match; the world-wide economy has really made a mess of a lot of things. Also, people may not be able to fit the time to prepare their RAK into their, already, crowded daily schedules. For my own case, I'm unsure that I will have the time to participate due to other up-coming projects which are unrealted to BJDG. Note, I'm not suggesting that you shouldn't proceed with this project, my input is simply to explain why there may not be the numbers of members participating as in the past. Mary C. |
