....the good, the bad, and the what-the-hell-were-they-thinking LOL
As the new season opens I thought it would be a good idea to create a thread for the costumes the skaters will wear. Some of them will be outstanding in their beauty and appropriateness for the music selections. Others will be bad and, then, there will be ones like this: http://photography.ice-dance.com/2010-11/2010Nebelhorn/SD/10Neb-SD-1176-ZG-LC.jpg.php Plus an alternate view: http://photography.ice-dance.com/2010-11/2010Nebelhorn/SD/10Neb-SD-1178-ZG-LC.jpg.php

This will be my fave thread!
I hope Brian won't use another nightmare costume , at least the SP should be beautiful with the spanish theme.
Mary, I think Nelli Zhiganshina & Alexander Gazsi costumes are really BAD . My eyes are hurting after watched those EWW outfits. Thumbs down, for sure!

sometimes i think people have different kinds of visions only it hasn't been discovered yet. that's the only explanation i can think of for those costumes.

I believe those "visions" are called hallucinations. Clearly somebody was in the throes of a major hallucination when they devised that costume design.

I don't know....I guess it's the combination of all the erratic "lines" on the bodice and the jagged hem line which does't set well my concept of a beautiful skating costume. It's a wee bit too angst-y for me, lol.
