....the good, the bad, and the what-the-hell-were-they-thinking LOL

As the new season opens I thought it would be a good idea to create a thread for the costumes the skaters will wear. Some of them will be outstanding in their beauty and appropriateness for the music selections. Others will be bad and, then, there will be ones like this: http://photography.ice-dance.com/2010-11/2010Nebelhorn/SD/10Neb-SD-1176-ZG-LC.jpg.php Plus an alternate view: http://photography.ice-dance.com/2010-11/2010Nebelhorn/SD/10Neb-SD-1178-ZG-LC.jpg.php

All I can say is.... affraid LOL

Comments are encouraged.

I hope Brian won't use another nightmare costume Ange2 , at least the SP should be beautiful with the spanish theme.

sometimes i think people have different kinds of visions only it hasn't been discovered yet. that's the only explanation i can think of for those costumes.

Why does this look like she got caught in the middle of an explosion in a spaghetti factory? LOL

I believe those "visions" are called hallucinations. Laughing Clearly somebody was in the throes of a major hallucination when they devised that costume design. Razz

I actually find that dress pretty, though I don't like the white tights, black or natural would be better!

i'm with shena on the last dress. i like the dress but the tights make it seem like she's wearing pajama bottoms with an elegant dress .

I don't know....I guess it's the combination of all the erratic "lines" on the bodice and the jagged hem line which does't set well my concept of a beautiful skating costume. It's a wee bit too angst-y for me, lol.
