Probably CBC, judging from this:
http://canadiansportsfan.wordpress.com/2010/10/08/2010-11-figure-skating-on-cbc-schedule/

I think I'll watch men live. Too many interesting names there Wink

edit: just looked at CCTV5 schedule- they also show Skate Canada, so I guess we can use the streams given for Cup of China Wink Here's the schedule for CCTV5:

No, unfortunately I can't find live stream for CBS Sad But I remember that we had one back in 2007, when Brian was @Skate Canada, so there should be one somewhere. The only question is where?! bounce

And I just looked again at CCTV5 coverage - they show almost everything except for men? How's that possible? Sad

Kevin R was awesome with two different quads but had a little turnout on the landing of the 3A. Nobu was good, but he didn't seem "into" the program. Adam was Adam. Alban had a great program- landed everything cleanly and was really into his program. However, the judges deducted heavily for...stuff. I have no idea what.

What REALLY makes me angry is Chan's score. His program was a disaster. He fell 3 times!!! 3 times!!!! 3!!!! Times!!! Yet, his score is higher than Alban's. I'm so angry right now. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr grrrrrrrrrmur

I also watched men SP. And, Kiki, I understand your feelings about Chan's score COMPLETELY! It's just NOT POSSIBLE to get such a score with 3 rough falls, one in step sequence. Firstly, because they're falls, and secondly - they spoil the artistic side of the programm. So WTF is 73,20 for that kind of performance?! It's outrageous!!!

Kerr's and the Crone/ Poirier - it's gonne be hard only 0,01 differents. I love Kerr's propositoins "shut up and let me go" Very Happy Finger crossed for them victory!!!!

BTW I couldn't belive for Chan's score - that's sick. Evil or Very Mad maybe he got +3 points for quality of the jumpes when he fell

I have just watched som of the programmes on youtube (thank god for youtube! Very Happy)
nobunari- great music, wonderfull jumps... i really liked his performance but theres still somethong missing for me...
kevin- OMG... 2 quads in short programme Twisted Evil thats a challenge for everyone!
adam- this guy seems to be in a great shape this season, he is very elegant, feels the music but i just somehow dont like his choices of music... a little boring
patrick- what was that??!! 3 falls and that score? obsiously overscored... i am not a big fan of his skating but i felt really sorry for him! i have to admit that he has the best choreography, very difficult and interesting... always on the edge (maybe that caused the fall in step sequence)
javier- nice 3 axel! i find this programme very entertaining
i couldnt find albans programme Sad maybe it will appear on youtube later....

So, Patrick Chan has seen the light...
Quote :
"I have no idea what happened, a combination of everything," Chan said. "When I missed the quad, I started doubting myself. The quad is a big jump; it's important to me. It was lack of experience; now I understand how guys who do it [all the time] feel. It's a learning process. I have no doubt I'll do it tomorrow."
(from here)

So putting in a risky element affects the rest of your program. Better write that down, kid.

Little piece of history: over 30 years ago, when IBM (then the biggest conglomerate in biz machines) decided to produce personal computers, the (then) tiny Apple company, who had been doing it for years, took up a full page ad saying "welcome, IBM, seriously" (look it up, it's entertaining). I feel like taking up an ad myself...

Can't get over that score. It's a travesty that that skate scored better than Alban (and Alban's was the best in years, I can't remember a smoother delivery).

And Yay for Kevin Reynolds for being the first man to land 2 quads in the short. I remember how excited I was when Yags was the first to land a quad-triple in the short, but he was soon followed by Plushy, Elvis, Weiss and others. In this I think Kevin will stand a lone for a long time. Can we do something about the hair?
