I will watch it on youtube, otherwise I will have to stay awake and don't get any sleep and I won't do that if there's not Brian Smile

You know, I've been so disgusted with the judging of the last two GPs I cannot muster any enthusiasm towards Skate America. I feel oddly disinterested.

Still, I hope that Takahashi will giev a performance worthy of the world champion - maybe that will get me into the season again. That, and for Kevin VDP to do well.

I'm really curious to see the results here but the most curiosity I have is for COR to see Chan's score Razz

Me too. At least the men's field is interesting...the other disciplines aren't nearly as exciting. Meryl and Charlie have practically no competition, the ladies is zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, and pairs...yeah, not so much.

I'm here to follow men, because it's interesting and I want to be informed about Brian's competitors. QAnd I'm also here for Davis/White and Savhenko/Szolkowy

I have to agree with kiki and Zandor. I find Skate America to be a snooze fest, largely. I'm somewhat interested in the men's competition but not necessarily in the American men, lol. The interest that is there is for guys who are direct competitor's for Brian. I definitely won't be following this one online although I'll check the results at the end of each day. Razz Now, Cup of Russia, that's a different thing altogether and, of course, TEB. Rival Chan will be there and I want to see how he does and how he's received, there. I also have interest in Verner, Preaubert, Contesti, and Fernandez, and perhaps, Abbott.

Its Friday night on the west coast of the U.S. Here are the top three from the short program of Skate America:
Oda, Takahashi, Rippon

My guess for the podium at Cup of Russia will be: Chan, Abbott and maybe Tomas Verner or one of the Russian guys. I just hope we don't see a repeat of Chan getting propped up with component scores. How does a judge give out 9.25 for skating skills and 8.00 for performance/execution when the skater falls THREE TIMES in one short program. Its one of the biggest injustices of the season...so far.

I would like to see Skate America on live!
I only saw end of the men short program and some pairs in short program today.
Pity that this Russian channel, NTV+ sport doesn't show Skate America on live! Crying or Very sad
