Well, I had a quick look at the two programmes....& they weren't as bad as I expected! Obviously there is much work to be done but if Brian is enjoying his music, then he should be determined to do it!

I agree with you Sheena.
Brian must work on these programs yet but if he likes it, he will be have a lot of joy during his trainings.
I think he is determined because he has a lot of goals in this season. First of all he wants to win the Cup of China and get a medals on the Euros and Worlds.

According to this: http://www.passion-patinage.com/?p=2322
Brian was pleasantly surprised by the points he got from the components scratch confused
Either he was joking or he is really planning to add a lot more effort on them.

You mean this?

I thought "notes" meant "notes". Does it mean scores? (I can't trust google translate.) I thought it was about how they talk to the judges and they give them advice on what to do. So I figured the judges were nice to him after they gave him crappy scores. lol IDK

According to my dictionary "notes" mean both "notes" and "grades". Whatever he meant at least he was positively surprised. clap

Watching Brian's LP, I had nostalgic feelings at the beginning: the same costume, the same music...
it was like 2004! But it's not the same Brian...his performance at Master's was only a shadow of the performance at Budapest. Not only because of the mistakes; I missed the special "Matrix-spirit", as Nina said before. Maybe it will come back again. brianmatrix

I think the SP could be really GREAT, the music fits him perfectly, but that's not enough! If he can improve the choreography and skate clean, it will be a thrilling performance!!

Go Brian!!! cheergo1

Thanks for the video, I'm watching the programs while i'm sick at home Razz
But I'm surprised... I'm the only one who's not agree with his choice? I mean, I love Matrix (not as much as 2007 FP actually) but it's a seven years old program...To me is good to discover new and improved skating programs every year, new musics, choreographies or elements...

Anyway, I really hope in a good skating season, he deserves happiness and some medals too Wink

Wooow his new short program music, this is something different. It's difficult for me to get into this music it's like waiting for something big to happen, but it doesn't. Some nice new movements and Brian looks like a rock star Very Happy

First reaction FP: Matrix again? Is it even possible to repick your program for so many times? Or did Brian find a loop in the rules and regulations? Either way it looks okay, but having seen this program for so many times during the competition preformed in different kind of ways makes me miss the little details which he used to point out some parts of the music. Like walking on his toes in a quicker part of the music.

And also knowing that he is always nervous performing in front of his own public. Brian will be fine!
