this is totally random but look how well Brian's step sequence would suit to KVdP's music, lol:

It kind of does, which is interesting - normally I don't think his skating works with the "wrong" music.

But Brian cannot skate to The Man in the Iron Mask without being accused of copying Yags. To be honest, much as I like KvdP, I think it should have been retired with Alexei; that was the definitive take on it.

Exactly my thought, Yulie. I think some pieces of music are so much connected with certain legendary performances that they should be left alone Smile Actually, when Marina Anissina & Gwendal Peizerat skated to The Man In The Iron Mask in 1999 ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4CjtGj-CLI ), it was unforgettable and as I saw Alexei is skating to that in 2002 I thought 'omg... NO WAY...' Fortunately, he did the music justice and also it was a different category (as him doing it in men's event). But still, somehow feel like he stole it from M&G Razz

I finally have started uploading my videos which is taking forever and they are awful. I have a zooming problem, which is kinda like a drinking problem, and I was trying to avoid people's heads so a lot of it is a scrambled mess. Consequently, I've had to edit them down and all other kinds of nonsense. I'll just keep adding them to this post as I get them done. But don't expect much of anything.

p.s. I hope I didn't confuse anyone but I didn't get to meet or even say hi to Brian. He sat a few rows behind me on the plane but I didn't want to bother him.

p.p.s. I really like Brian's SP costume.

Thanks for the videos, really great job! Wink I love to watch videos with Brian and I'm watching every day! Very Happy
I also like Brian's costume to his short program from the Euros 2012 and I'm really curious if Brian will skate in this costume in Nice! Razz

Hi. I haven't posted in a while. I just got home a few hours ago. I didn't have internet access in Sheffield. I never got around to going to the practices so I don't know what happened there. I took some videos at the events. I don't know when I'll have them uploaded but if I got anything decent I'll link them.

And in a very strange twist of fate, Brian and his mom, and Candeloro were on the same flight as me this morning from Manchester to Paris. In fact I was sitting right next to Philippe and spoke to him a little.

Facepalm, I thought about you, I yearned for you and your posts, it's nice you came back on our great forum! lol!

You are really lucky person that you were on the same flight as Brian! Razz
I have a mixed feelings, sometimes I think that my meeting with Brian will never be achivably for me that's why I always think about people who saw or met him: "lucky persons"!
I live in Poland, it's too far from Brian Sad and I really don't think Brian will go there and my idea to go to Poitiers seems to be a bit stupid! crazy

I can't wait the videos, for me every video with Brian is a valuable, I have it so much! lach

Hey, Brian was two times in Poland, in 2007 Warsaw and in 2005 Wroclaw..enough chances to meet him:)
