Titi is not 100% happy book , but it's not creappy or dramat it's a novel about young girls who is searching for a right way for living .

I use translator - what my publisher write about it.

Julia Ambler is a twenty-year girl who begins his studies at Milan. Soon after, drop out of school for fashion design in one of Italy,s artistic agencies. Falls into the vortex of the city and completely gives up his beloved work. Surprisingly, on her way becoming entertainment playboy Marco, who fascinated with the beauty woman, begins to tear down the plan clearly outlined in her career.

MALGOSIA if you want to but my book - don't read what I wrote below LOL!!!!!

She dance with boy named Maciej but she loves another Mikolaj.

There is another girl namet Matylda - who is searching right men - like from novel but she dateing with boy who doesn't carre about her.

I always admired people who can make up stories. I like to write (quite obvious, hm? Wink), but I simply cant think of fictions. Like a story. I can write only what I saw, felt, heard, lived through... So congratulations once again!

Im reading a book by a Romanian author now, Dan Lungu (Irina, probably have heard of him?). Its called How to forget a woman. So far I have mixed feelings about it and I guess my final judgement will be based on the ending. The main character is a journalist (hah!) whose girlfriend leaves him. He has no place to stay so he gets involved with some religional community. He smokes and drinks a lot (somewhat typical journalist life). Its an enjoyable reading, so I wonder how it will all end.

actually i don't know him. scratch

i read a few weeks ago " oranges are not the only fruit " by jeanette winterson. it's a quirky little book and i liked it. it has all sort of oddities in it but by the end it all kind of makes sense. when i bought this book there was one more book by the same author on the shelves called " sexing the cherry ", i think i'll buy it.

Im reading a great book right now. (Irina, I think you might like it as well.)

Its by Sofi Oksanen (Finnish father, Estonian mother) and its called Stalins cows. It includes the story of three generations (grandma, mother and daughter), all of them has to struggle with some demons.
The most interesting thing is the soviet era in Estonia. We have read tons of books about those times (and experienced them partly in the late 80s), but somehow Ive always read just about Hungary, Czechoslovakia or Romania, never Estonia. The relationship between the soviet Estonia and the "western" Finland is so interesting. Very very very good reading. It makes you realize many things.

i did read sexing the cherry in the end. it is more on the fantasy side but it has the same with to it as " oranges are not the only fruit ".
so now i am reading " written on the body " also by jeanette winterson. she's not the master of plot and she most definitely is not trying to be but she is so witty and so funny.
