Oui, et si je peux me permettre on dit aussi « le manchot » comme pingouin signifie aussi en anglais "auk" qui est un espèce d'oiseau mis à part du manchot...

To answer your question, one can say "Pingouin" to be understood as "penguin" but it is actually more proper to say "le manchot".

sevda kisses , il ne faut pas être désoler que tu as des lacunes en anglais ou autres langues ,je trouve que c'est bien que tu te renseignes .Si tu as besoin de quoi que se soit (en anglais ou autres ,demande le ) heu je pourrais aider en français!lol ,nos amies anglophones feront mieux que moi pour l'anglais ,lol!
sevda, you should not be to grieve that you have lacunas in English or other languages, I find that it is definitely that you enquire .Si you need of whatever (in English or others, asks) bah I could help in French! lol, our English-speaking friends will make better than me for English :greensmilewink , lol!

Can I get a taxi at 23:00 in Paris???...what do you think ??? Embarassed ... in Japan, we can get a taxi though midnight. but I don't know how in the case of Paris. Embarassed
