...since the Olympics were in Torino this year. Italian is pretty similar to French (except for the pronunciation) and Spanish.

I'm in my third semester of Italian at university, so I'm willing to help translate any Italian vids/articles we might find about Brian. I remember a couple of the Worlds vids were in Italian and I could understand most of what was being said. The Italian announcers were very impressed by Brian.

To start off:

Wow. More words to learn.

I don't often post on the language threads but do make use of all of the information provided. So all of your effort is appreciated. I've been making my own dictionary of all of the skating terms in the various languages, and it is really helping me remember them.

If anybody needs any translation from italian to english or viceversa just ask me, I'm italian but I live in England...
And when you say italians were impressed by Brian, well

To skate: pattinare
Short program: programma corto
Free program: programma libero
Score: punteggio
Judges: giudici
World Champion: Campione del mondo ( also known as Brian Joubert )
