| Karel doesn't compete this season because he isn't completely healthy. He made an anouncement on his homepage. But he said that he is already feeling better now and he hopes to be back as soon as possible!! |

| Oh, what a shame! What in the world is happening to all these skaters and their injuries? It's like an epidemic of some sort. On the positive side, the fact that these prominent skaters are withdrawing, due to injury, will allow other skaters to have the chance to shine and medal. Rachel Flatt will certainly be one of those who will benefit by this, although I'm sure she would rather compete, and win, against Emily and Kimmie.
