I have just got a google alert with this info as well:
http://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/news_digest/Lambiel_plans_Olympics_comeback.html?siteSect=104&sid=10999070&cKey=1248514480000&ty=nd

This sounds a bit Suspect especially that he oficially announced retirement nearly year ago.

Eva if there's some interesting info around this topic please translate Very Happy

edit:i've just read the official press release: http://www.stephanelambiel.ch/upload/media/lambiel_pr_090725_en.pdf

his SP seems to be not ready yet, and he will "recycle" his "Tango" LP from season 2008/2009/

The men's field for the upcoming Olympics is getting ver-r-ry intersting (not that it wasn't before with Brian up against P. Chan and Plushy, LOL) and more crowded. I think it's great that Brian will be competing against his all-time rivals Lysacek, Plushenko, and maybe Mr.-new-to-the-scene, Patrick Chan. With Lambiel returning (if it's really true, lol), this should put an incredible amount of pressure to get it right on Mr. Chan. Wink I wonder how he will hold up under this amount of pressure, considering it's his first Olys? Of course, he still has to make it to the Olympics, LOL. Will he? It's going to be interesting to watch this happen---whatever happens, LOL.

Stéphane has had a press conference today. Here is a video:
http://www.blick.ch/home/web-tv?firstProjectID=11667

The swiss-german of the commentator isn't very easy to understand, but Stéphane...I have to admit it is reallyyy cute when he speaks german!! :kissvn8.gif:
They're not telling anything new, except maybe that Steph had the pig/swine flu while he was in Japan!! He said that now he is immune: "No more Schwein (german word for pig) -Flu :lach: for me this winter"

i'm not that happy for these comebacks. i would have preferred new young talents, than recycled programs.
i'm also wondering who else would rethink his retirement Question

This is a really interesting article about Samuel Contesti and the struggles he had to overcome:

As for Stephane... Suspect Im not his fan, OK, but its not the only thing why Im not happy about his decision. His "I lack motivation" statements made a very bad impression on me.

I am not surprised of the return of Lambiel, this is going to give of the "prickly" but Brian will need that he is archi loan!!
He misses more than Buttle... Cool

Je ne suis pas étonnée du retour de Lambiel ,ça va donner du "piquant" mais Brian faudra qu'il soit archi prêt !!
Il manque plus que Buttle ...
