| I don't really understant the big flap over Elvis' comments on masculinity. If anything, the reporter baited him with the "masculinity" question to get a rise out of him, LOL, and it worked! Now, everybody, all over the message boards are having a field day getting on his case about his responses to the reporter's questions. He raised some very valid points regarding the scoring of Patrick Chan and Jeremy Abbott. That is what everyone should be focusing on not throwing up the old veiled question of whether Elvis is masculine or not which is nobody's business except that of Elvis. It should be pointed out, regarding Chan's scores, that judges at a country's national championships tend of overmark the skaters whom the country's Federation wishes to advertise as "the skaters to beat." Is it right? Is it fair to the really deserving skaters? No, of course not, but it is a very common outcome--especially in an Olympic year. Mary C. |

I thought this as well. She's a good skater and seriously needs a better partner. If only Tatiana and Hao Zhang could become partners... |

Good for him. Tatiana is a fantastic skater and I always felt Stanislav was kind of pushing her back. She could have outshined Savchenko but for him. Now she's going to have another shot, and I'm truly happy for her. |

Totally agree, I hope she'll achieve a lot more with a new partner, as she's very talented! |
