Rach, I've moved here !! I hope it's no problem that we'll talk about kimono(着物) here. Smile

I don't know that they send it to U.S.A or not...but I think I can help you to sned it I love you and I kind of think we don't buy a kimono on web. especially Furisode(振袖)!! because it is a little bit expensive than general one. Wink

I checked impressions of buyers about the correspondence of the shop and the state of the article. and it was good !!
Kyoto usagi-do 京都うさぎ堂
http://store.shopping.yahoo.co.jp/kyouto-usagido/bfb6c2b5a12.html
and you know, Kyoto kimono ichiba 京都きもの市場
http://www.kimonoichiba.com/shop/goods/goods.asp?category=05
Kimono-bito きもの人
http://www.kimono-bito.com/gds/0394/index.htm
http://www.kimono-bito.com/gds/0005/
http://www.kimono-bito.com/gds/0392/index.htm
These are very nice, but TOO expensive affraid
about 800,000 -- 4,000,000- yen !!! ( 8,000 -- 40,000 us $) :faint18x19wy5: I prefer to buy a new car than to buy it. Razz

they are for casual (everyday wear)
http://www.kimono-asobi.net/

I told about mine to Irina, Nina and Marta in Sweden, because we saw several ladies who wore a kimono at the rink. mdr my kimono(振袖) took about 1,400,000- yen. and I also needed Obi, it's also very expensive pale .. about 400,000- yen. ( Total about 18,000-us$ :faint18x19wy5: ) my grandmother bought them for me. Embarassed but I wore it only 3times. LOL

Ah Saoriさん, I would love to see a photograph of your furisode ! It's a shame that you only wore it three times, but you will have a wonderful heirloom to give to your daughters, yes? Fortunately, I have more chances to wear mine, but I still wanted to get a new one for my seijin shiki. Smile

I already have it arranged so that I can get such things shipped to me. Smile

リンークを有難う御座います! すごいよ。 ^_^ One thing, I was looking for furisode used with 辻が花 technique. And yes, the price, it is expensive, but, I'm rather bad with clothes and money... Embarassed

PS: today I saw a japanese movie : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0459744/
Kind a strange but I like it ! Razz

I saw a few japanese movies and most of them have many fighting scenes and they using a lot of blood. I'm wondering why the japanese directors( or the scenarists) are so in love with this kind of stories?

I listen to a bit of Japanese music, yes.

My favourite composers are Shimamura Yoko, Uematsu Nobuo, and Sakuraba Motoi.

And yes, these composers are all best know for their work with video games. Very Happy
In Japan though, video game music is taken seriously as any other genre now that we have that technology to support it, and well, the music that is produced is every bit as touching, moving, and beautiful as anything I've ever heard. I have the tracks on my computer and listen to them all the time. Very Happy

I also listen to traditional Japanese kouta since I dance buyô and we danse to very traditional pieces such as « Gion Kouta » and « Sarashime ». Some people have tried to get me interested in the musics of visual kei groups, L'Arc~en~ciel, Miyavi, etc. I really care more though for the visual contribution of such artists though than the music.

Thanks for telling me about those composers. Hope to find something on the net by them.

I've listen some songs of Miyavi and like it. He is well known in Europe.Had a concert in Germany this year if I'm not mking a mistake. But L'Arc~en~ciel are to hard for me. I heard just one song - maybe not the good one Razz

Yes I know! The anime(or manga)/cartoon stories from nowdays are to violent . But the children watching them and it's not good at all. That's why our world became so bad, cruel. If you tell now to a kid about "Tom & Jerry" or "Bugs bunny" he will tell you that are to ancient for watching or things like that.
