I can help with one part maybe. lol!

微笑み (ほほえみ) rômaji - hohoemi means a smile
幸福 (こうふく) rômaji - kôfuku means happiness (noun form). The same word root is used in the adjectival form 'happy.'

I am sorry that I cannot translate your phrase, but dream is generally transcribed as yume (夢、ゆめ) in expressions such as the one you are trying to create.

To find how to write these words, please study proper stroke order for writing if you have not already. Smile

PostSubject: Re: Learn Japanese - here! :)))   06.07.09 21:13

I'm a member of a forum which is about Sailor Moon Very Happy By the way we talk about others animes and also Japanese culture. So we've celebrated Tanabata Feast since 2007 Very Happy We'll celebrate it tomorrow. The kimonos are worn up during this festival. But on the internet Very Happy we can not do it, instead of that we make signatures with a girl who wears kimono Smile During that day we play some games and at the end of the day we choose our Hime (a kind of princess I think) Very Happy (with using our signatures) and then fireworks are exploded ( but unfortunately I didn't see them yet ^^'' )

And there are some informations about Tanabata...

Tanabata (七夕, tanabata, meaning "Evening of the seventh") is a Japanese star festival, derived from the Chinese star festival, Qi Xi (七夕 "The Night of Sevens").

It celebrates the meeting of Orihime (Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair). The Milky Way, a river made from stars that crosses the sky, separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar. Since the stars come out at night, the celebration is held at night.

The original Tanabata date was based on the Japanese lunisolar calendar, which is about a month behind the Gregorian calendar. As a result, some festivals are held on July 7, some are held on a few days around August 7, while the others are still held on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the traditional Japanese lunisolar calendar, which is usually in August in the Gregorian Calendar.

I wonder what Saori does during Tanabata. I want her to tell us Smile Smile I hope she's fine too Smile
